Niagara Falls, New York to Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Over 560 miles!

July 31 - August 6, 2006

This ride starts at the incredible Niagara Falls, passes through the rolling farm country of upper New York State, follows part of the Erie Canal, across the Appalachian Mountain Range, a "roller coaster" ride across southern Vermont, and then on through Manchester, NH to Portsmouth, finishing at Rye Beach with a ceremonial wheel dip in the Atlantic Ocean. It'll be a bit shorter than previous years' rides - only 560 miles this time.

My goal for this year is to raise $16,000 for the Alzheimer's Association. We've raised over $94,000 so far, since 1999 - click below to see all those previous rides. Over 7000 miles of cross-country cycling are captured in my stories and photos!
