Foxy slept in a bit today, she woke us up at 6:20. Again, lots to do before ride starts. Great cycling day again. My son Jon joined me today. He is a major part of RFA and is my website manager. I do the rides, write the blogs, take the photos, and do the presentations. Danielle Curcuro, my barber, also joined up for the day (her day off). She owns "Danielle's Barber Shop" on Thames Street in Groton. She does a great haircut - makes me look 30 years younger.

Some highlights for today: A smooth level 7 ½ mile ride (North to South) down Shewville Rd; a scenic ride past Mystic Seaport; a stop in downtown Mystic for some photos; a scenic ride up River Rd; a hilly meander across Ledyard on Wolf Neck, Whitford, Gallup Hill, Wendell Comrie and Lambtown roads ( Gallup Hill and Wendell Comrie were the toughest); and a slow flat crossing of the Ledyard Resivoir on Sandy Hollow Rd.
