The Ride for Alzheimer's is On!

Tuesday, July 11. Rest Day, Day 8.

Boy did I sleep last night, I don't ever remember sleeping so long! I got up at 10:10. 12 HOURS SLEEP!!! I really was very tired, I have been getting to bed around midnight to 1 AM.

I did buy a replacement chain, had lunch at Arby's, hung out, wrote my journal (no pictures today). Had dinner out with my friend Roger Berthold from Wilmington, DE. We went to this really neat restaurant/sports bar that had five 40 in. TV screens. Each table had a speaker and selection dial so you could select the audio for the screen you were watching. It was cool.

I have a new roommate, Chris Pickering from Evanston, Il. This hotel is the first one that does not have access to a server to get to internet, so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to send this journal to Ed for 7/10 and 7/11. Just talked to Donna, she tells me that everything is going fine at home.

Tomorrow morning is the Alzheimer annual meeting, I hope that everything goes OK. Tomorrow will be a short 68 mile ride to Richmond, IN. Off to bed at 9:45.
