REST DAY - Pueblo, CO

Gene got up early to pack and organize. I also got up and went to breakfast with him. Then he was on his way to other adventures. I stayed up and started to do some of the many things I needed to do on this day off: clean bike, lube chain, do laundry, write journals for June 23 & 24 and send to Ed, haircut, rest and meet with general manager of hotel - he is going to help me access the hotel wireless high speed network. Other odds and ends will come up, they always do.

My new roommate arrived this morning. We met and hit it off just fine. His name is Jay Butler and he is doing the ride all the way to his home town of Indianapolis.
